July 2026 - Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari Appointed WMIS IDS Vice-Chair Elect

Culver City, California, USA — July 14, 2026. The World Molecular Imaging Society (WMIS) has appointed Abhijit J. Chaudhari, Ph.D.,
Professor of Radiology at the University of California, Davis, as Vice-Chair Elect of the Image Data Science (IDS) Interest Group.
Dr. Chaudhari’s research is in quantitative imaging, computational methods, and machine learning, and he will contribute to advancing innovation and collaboration in image data science within the molecular imaging community.
